Voice Packs and Dub Packs explained

Understand Pack sources, formats, rights, local imports and playable Rounds.

Your quick-start path

Illustrated workflow, not a browser screenshot. Follow the detailed instructions below for exceptions.

  1. 1

    Check the listing

Read the source, archive availability and known compatibility limits.

  2. 2

    Load on request

Choose a Pack to load. A listing does not guarantee browser playback.

  3. 3

    Listen before play

Confirm the prompts decode correctly before starting a Round.

01

A voice collection is not necessarily a scene

A voice Pack can be a folder of reactions, character lines, judge sounds and menu audio. It may have no video and no timed script. A dub scene may include video, separate line audio, captions and timing metadata. Check the actual archive contents rather than assuming the title tells you its format.

02

Read the facts before downloading

Look for the creator, original source, archive format and size. Audio-file count is not dialogue count: a backing track or score sound adds a file but not a spoken line. A filename that says ten seconds is not a duration measurement. Unknown details should remain unknown until someone inspects or decodes the files.

03

Understand compatibility in layers

Opening ZIP, RAR or 7z is only the first step. The browser must also decode the audio, and the importer must recognize the layout and metadata. A readable file does not reproduce the original desktop game's judges, menus or scoring rules. Start with a short supported clip before committing to an entire collection.

04

Import, inspect and play

Download from the credited source, open local import and select the archive. Review warnings, the available lines and their order. Preview a spoken line before playing. If the archive contains only interface sounds, choose different material instead of treating those sounds as a transcript.

05

When preparation fails

A file may be incomplete, mislabeled or use an unsupported codec. Re-download only after checking the original source and the reported error. Renaming .rar to .zip does not convert it. For a very large collection, use a smaller compatible Pack or prepare a short selection from media you are allowed to edit.

06

Keep attribution and local backups

Public download availability is not permission to republish a creator's media. Keep the source and creator information with your archive. Browser storage is specific to the device and can be cleared, so retain an exported backup. Joining a room does not automatically send your private Pack to other players.
