DUBROUND GUIDE · UPDATED SEPTEMBER 16, 2026

Turn video into a voice challenge

Choose permitted media, mark spoken moments and arrange them as a playable Round.

Your quick-start path

Illustrated workflow, not a browser screenshot. Follow the detailed instructions below for exceptions.

  1. 1

    Permitted source

Choose a local file you created or have permission to transform.

  2. 2

    Trim and label

Keep one clear spoken moment per clip; check its caption and speaker.

  3. 3

    Preview and play

Listen to every selected clip, save the Pack and try a complete Round.

01

Choose a performance, not just a popular video

Start with a clip you created or have permission to transform. A clear spoken phrase with an audible beginning and ending is easier to play than a long montage. Listen without looking at the picture: if music or overlapping voices obscure the words, choose another moment.

02

Make your first challenge deliberately small

As a planning example, use your own twenty-second conversation and select three short exchanges. That is a suggested exercise, not a tested Pack or a required duration. Give each exchange a purpose: an opening line, a reply and a payoff. Leave out a long silent lead-in.

03

Match the selection to the players

For a beginner, choose one clear speaker and familiar pacing. For a local party, choose a few lines that different people can attempt without a long explanation. A scene with four characters does not require exactly four players; decide the turn order separately from character labels.

04

Keep context without overwhelming the player

Write a short caption or setup so the player knows what to perform. Preserve meaningful pauses but avoid padding each reference with unrelated noise. Keep original timing notes if the scene depends on a reply or interruption; do not pretend a collection of isolated audio files has a synchronized movie.

05

Move from selection to editing

Use Create from video once you know the moments you want. Mark boundaries, label speakers and preview each cut. The detailed creation guide covers editing and export; this guide helps choose suitable material. Your first test should use the same Pack runtime that the next player will use.

06

Review for the audience

Watch and hear the whole selection before a group session. Check language, sudden loud sounds and adult themes. Ask before using another person's voice. If the material is not suitable or its permission is unclear, make an original short recording instead.
