How to play microphone games online
Prepare your browser, microphone and room for a reliable voice-game session.
Your quick-start path
Illustrated workflow, not a browser screenshot. Follow the detailed instructions below for exceptions.
Listen first
Hear the prompt with headphones; avoid recording speaker feedback.
Take your turn
Wait for the recording cue, then match the prompt at a comfortable volume.
Compare and retry
Review the result, try again or pass the microphone to the next player.

Start with the built-in round
Open DubRound and choose the built-in material for your first attempt. You do not need to download a community archive to learn the controls. Pick Solo when playing alone. A round is one short voice challenge: listen to a reference, record your version and compare the result.
Prepare one microphone
Connect your microphone before starting. Use headphones, keep the same distance from the mic and reduce competing music. Run Mic Test if you are unsure which input is active, then stop it. Give the game focus and press its recording control; microphone access should be requested as part of that action, not merely because you opened a guide.
Listen before recording
Play the reference through once. Notice where the voice starts, where it pauses and how the final sound ends. Try a short example rather than memorizing a whole scene. Record at a comfortable volume, leave room for the last word and listen back before keeping the take.
Read the result without chasing a perfect voice
DubRound compares timing, energy shape, rhythm and usable pitch movement. It is not a test of your identity, accent or professional singing skill. Change one thing on the next try, such as the pause before the final phrase. Comparing different reference clips tells you less about improvement than repeating the same one.
Keep a take and switch material
Use the game's accept or retry controls before continuing. The game can save accepted recordings and line data in a Pack ZIP; this is not automatically a finished movie. When trying community material, read its format and size first. A sound collection can include menu sounds as well as speech, so select a suitable reference.
Recover without losing the whole session
For blocked input, return to Mic Test and check permissions. For a stuck embedded frame, try the full-page game. For a failed archive, keep the original file and return to the built-in round. Do not repeatedly download a large file while the previous preparation is still running.
